  2. Turtle graphics prog developed with a couple of friends from an old beeb
  3. prog. It comes complete with a number of files of procedures (let's call
  4. them microworlds) to get folks off the ground (particularly in schools).
  5. Freely copiable (a number of schools currently use it, and find it
  6. valuable)

  8.   Procedures can be written in !Edit
  9.   Supports use of variables (but not conditional statements)
  10.   Easy printing (uses Hardcopy module)
  11.   Manual on disc (Impression doc)

  13. TO USE

  15.   Load it from root directory
  16.   Load a file of procedures eg planets / trigrid
  17.  
  18. *********** then type INFO ************

  20. (most of the files of procedures work in this way)

  22. This should give you an idea of what it can do

  24. PROBLEMS
  25.  
  26. It has a couple of not-insurmountable problems
  27.  
  28.   Procedures containing oscli commands cannot be saved from within !Turtle
  29.   (instead enter them in Edit)
  30.  
  31.   I've not found it possible to delete all of the procedures at once.
  32.   Consequently, the best way of clearing out the program (at present) is
  33.   to quit and start up again.
